Kilby Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are the basic rules for using Kilby. If you use Kilby, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Using Kilby
- Use Kilby only for lawful purposes.
- You are responsible for the prompts, files, connected accounts, and activity tied to your account.
- You may not try to abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with Kilby or its systems.
Your Account
- You are responsible for access to your sign-in method and any connected third-party services.
- Some features require available Kilby credits.
- Optional integrations may require authorization to connected third-party services such as Google, Slack, or a supported brokerage platform.
- Kilby may restrict access if the service is abused or if that is necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Credits and Billing
- Kilby operates on a prepaid credit model. To use Kilby's assistant features, you must have available credits in your Kilby account.
- Credits can be purchased through the Settings panel.
- Credits are consumed as you use the service and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
- Kilby uses credits to call Anthropic's API on your behalf. You are not required to provide your own API key.
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Kilby does not store full payment card details.
- Kilby may update credit pricing or consumption rates from time to time. Current pricing is shown in the app.
Third-Party Services
Kilby depends on third-party services, including Anthropic, Google AI services, Google APIs, Google Cloud, Firebase, Stripe, Slack, weather and geocoding providers, and supported brokerage platforms when those optional features are used. If those services change, fail, or limit access, Kilby features may also change or stop working.
Brokerage Services
Kilby is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, securities exchange, custodian, clearing firm, or licensed financial institution. Kilby does not open brokerage accounts, hold customer funds or securities, clear or settle transactions, or provide brokerage services.
If brokerage features are enabled and available to you, brokerage services, account custody, order acceptance or rejection, order execution, clearing, settlement, and related regulated financial services are provided by the supported third-party brokerage platform you authorize, not by Kilby. When you connect a brokerage account through Kilby, you authorize Kilby to receive user-confirmed order instructions from you and relay or submit those instructions to that third-party brokerage platform through your connected account.
- You are solely responsible for all trading decisions and order instructions submitted through Kilby.
- Kilby does not provide investment advice, recommendations, or solicitations to buy or sell securities.
- AI-generated research and analysis are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as financial advice.
- Trading in securities involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
- Kilby does not guarantee order execution, pricing, or availability of any security.
- Your use of brokerage features is also subject to the connected third-party brokerage platform's terms, disclosures, and account agreements.
Your Content
You keep responsibility for the prompts, attachments, selected connected-service content, and other content you submit. You give Kilby only the rights needed to process that content to operate the service.
No Guarantees
Kilby is provided "as is" and "as available." Outputs may be wrong, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.
Liability Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kilby and its publisher are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the service.
Ending Access
You may stop using Kilby at any time. Kilby may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if continued access would create security, legal, or operational risk.
Changes
Kilby may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are material, the effective date on this page will be updated.
